Arise

My lover spoke and said to me,

“Arise, my darling!  Arise my beautiful one!  Arise, and come with me!” (SOS 2:10).

For the time has come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son.

And those who hear will live, they will live (John 5:25).

“See the winter has passed, the rains have gone!  The fig tree puts forth its early fruit!

The blossoming vines spread their scent!  Arise, and come with me!” (SOS 2:11-13).

I am the resurrection, and I am the life, I am the life.

He who believes in me will live, he will live (John 11:25).
